【新闻速递】7月29日
1.球队相关：
(1)训练营(7.28，训练第二天)：
伤病和出席情况：
- 护锋Joshua Garnett周六训练中右手手指脱臼，当时接了回去，但今天又脱臼了，不得不中止了训练，接受进一步检查。
- 落选新秀跑卫Austin Walter在热身中扭伤了左侧大腿腘绳肌。
- Kwon Alexander(前十字韧带撕裂)、Jason Verrett(跟腱撕裂)和Jalen Hurd(膝盖)首次参加全队合练。
综合：
- 防守组再次获胜，三位四分卫都没有什么推进(见四分卫处)。
- 今天的rookie hype man由落选新秀进攻线球员Ross Reynolds担任(视频)。
- 明天将是首次穿护具训练。
四分卫：
- Jimmy Garoppolo：12传5中，1次被抄截(见下文Pettis处)，7对7中和跑回身(comeback)路线对阵Ahkello Witherspoon的Pettis连线成功。
- Nick Mullens：9传6中，受到压力情况下，传给遭到双人防守的Pettis，后者在边线处完成了漂亮的接球。
- C.J. Beathard：8传4中，传给近端锋Tyree Mayfield拿到大码数。
跑卫：
- Tevin Coleman：有数次冲球展现了爆发力，但有一次被Fred Warner将球从他手中打出，被Malcolm Smith抢到。
外接手：
- Marquise Goodwin：在Sherman防守下漏接了一次Garoppolo给他的20码精准传球，在训练早些时候跑出界(out)路线接到了一次20码传球。

“That’s on me,” Pettis said. “If he throws that ball, he’s trusting me. Worst-case scenario, it’s a broken up pass. That’s something I have to get in my head. If he’s trusting me, then this ball is not going to go to the other team, no matter what. He just told that, ‘Look, I trust you, and you got to break it up for something.' ”
Garoppolo在之前的采访中也称赞了Pettis：
"Dante is something else," Garoppolo said. "His physical ability is different from most receivers, and different from any receiver I've been with. How he moves, it's very long and gangly, but he makes it work. He has enough explosiveness and power to get out of cuts when it doesn't look like he can."
"He's a tremendous talent and keeps working, grinding to make big things happen."
- Trent Taylor：完成了今天进攻组的最佳表现，跑倾斜(slant)路线击败五分卫K’Waun Williams接到Mullens的传球，拿下大码数达阵(视频)。
- 三轮秀Jalen Hurd：两次卷入场上打斗，第一次是他向角卫Dontae Johnson的上腹部打了两拳，第二次是和安全卫Antone Exum。主教练Shanahan说他不喜欢球员在上场打架，他喜欢球员之间愤怒、竞争，但要学会控制，否则会在正式比赛时被吹犯规。他会在明天球队会议上向球员们——尤其是新秀们说此事。
A couple scuffles out there today. I mean, you've got to be pleased with that energy, but where are you at in that kind of interaction with your players?
"I'm a little gray on it right now because I didn't actually see it. I saw the people on top of each other, so I don't have a strong opinion yet on what led to it, but I don't like guys fighting at practice, I don't like punches thrown. I like guys pissing each other off. I like guys competing, but I think real toughness is controlling that because you're going to get penalties in the game and things like that. So, fighting is something I don't want at practice. I'd like guys to get as close as possible to fighting, because that is the mentality of football, but that's got to be a controlled aggression. If you can't control that, it's your liability."
Is that something you almost want to see this early in camp, to sort of get that out of the way and be able to talk to those guys about it?
"Yeah, and I've talked about it. We've talked about it a lot with our team. I think there's a few new guys out there today, so it gives me a bunch of good stuff to address probably tomorrow when I get with them for our team meeting. Guys don't have to prove that they're tough by fighting people. If you're not tough, we're going to know that and so will the players. You're not going to be on this team, so that is a very silly way to prove it, especially when you have helmets on."
进攻线：
- Joe Staley：Staley说他感觉更像原来的自己了，昨天感觉有点迟钝。

- Ahkello Witherspoon： 7对7中抢到Pettis身前抄截了Garoppolo的传球，这也是球队训练营中首次抄截，还在11对11中破坏了另一次给Pettis的传球
- D.J. Reed：新秀赛季打游卫和五分卫的他重回大学时打的角卫位置，打了外角卫，主教练Shanahan说他在角卫位置更有机会为球队做出贡献，他也具备特勤组价值。
“We know he was more comfortable with it,” Shanahan said. “He’s got some versatility. He does some great things in nickel. He did well at safety for us last year.”
“When you can run and you’re not scared to hit, you can help at a lot of spots on special teams, also,”
