This Office charged Reuben Foster with two felony counts stemming from acts of domestic violence that occurred on February 11, 2018. Mr. Foster was also charged with one felony count for possession of an assault weapon and one misdemeanor count for possession of a large capacity ammunition magazine. This Office has been advised that a judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California in San Diego has issued an injunction prohibiting enforcement of the misdemeanor ammunition charge, pending review by the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. In light of that injunction, this Office intends to ask the Santa Clara County Superior Court to dismiss the misdemeanor charge at the next court date scheduled for April 30, 2018

I’m happy for him, I feel like it’s the best thing for him. How would he fit into the 49ers defense? Like a glove. He would sneak right in and do really well. That’s the kind of player he is. He’s a freak athlete. I got to do speed work against him all through college so that was really fun. I beat him in some things because I used to be 225 lbs. He’s fun and would be a great addition to the team. I mossed him all the time, you can ask him. (laughing) What would you sat to those asking about his tackling abilities? I feel like everyone said that about (Chargers CB) Desmond King last year, that he wasn’t going to be very good coming out with knocks on that but I think he’s doing pretty well for himself. He’s from then same coach and the same system. I think Josh is going to be just fine. Have you been tackled him?
