(2)防守协调员Robert Saleh(采访全文)周四下午说擒抱技术的改进可以帮助线卫Reuben Foster减少受伤的风险，并让他成为更好的擒抱者。Saleh说Foster要学会不是将整个身体飞出去撞对手，而是擒抱中脚留在地面上加速，肩膀对着胸骨或大腿。这是他休赛期需要去加强的地方。
“This is gonna sound ludicrous in a way, but I think he can be even more explosive when he hits with proper technique. When he learns to run his feet through contact, he’s going to destroy people, without hurting himself.
“And that’s something he’s got to work on through the offseason, is how to tackle the right way in terms of — because when you see him, he just throws his entire body in there. But if he learns to actually accelerate through the tackle, with his shoulder to the sternum or shoulder through the thigh, I mean those hits will just be, what’s already explosive, even twice that.
“There’s an element he needs to work on with regard to his technique and tackling, to not put his body at so much risk, and I truly believe that when he does figure it out, he’ll be even more explosive.”
“[W]hen you leave your feet, it’s just, you’re losing all your power, you’re losing all that acceleration that you built up to get to that contact point. I’m a big golfer, so it’d be like decelerating at the ball. You might still hit the ball 250, but if you accelerated through the contact with all the right technique, that ball might go another 25 yards. So it’s the whole, trying to get him to understand what it feels like to accelerate through contact, and what he needs to get done from a technique standpoint to get even more explosive.”

“It’s going to be hard to change my style of play, but that will come with the offseason of getting the right shoulder strength and traps (trapezius) and getting dialed in on body maintenance,” Foster said. “Not holding the shoulder surgery against me, but that I need that training and to find a way to play aggressive and not hurt myself.”

All teams are in attendance. There's a lot of meetings that go on there.
"I don't think it's a real difficult deal to get done if that's the direction that the Niners want to go in. I really don't. If Jimmy Garoppolo has such a lofty number in mind that it's not palatable to the 49ers, then maybe at that point you use the franchise tag. But I think Don Yee has shown over time that he's very willing to do deals like this, very capable of doing deals like this, very good at doing deals like this. It should not be a difficult negotiation."
“I think 24, 25 million makes more sense. 23, 24, 25. Maybe it's $21 million with more guaranteed money and upside and incentives for doing certain things. I mean there's a lot of different ways you can go about this. It's all in the structure of how you want to do it. But let me say this, the 49ers have all the cap room that they need to do this. Again, they have the flexibility, they have the options, and when you’re talking quarterback, which this organization has struggled to come up with in recent seasons, what does it matter if it’s $22M or $24M or $26M? What are we talking about in the grand scheme of things?”
